I love Christmas!

I love Christmastime because people are so nice! I've had countless people come caroling at my house and give us presents. It makes me feel really happy when people are so caring and considerate. Another favorite of mine is going to see the lights at Temple Square; so pretty! The worst part is when all of it is over on the dreaded day of December 26. Ew. Unless it's your birthday or wedding anniversary, there is no reason to look forward to that awful day. Merry Christmas everyone!

Counseling Center of Hades

I was called into the Counseling Center at my school during a math test. My teacher told me to wait until I was finished, so I continued to drag myself through it. I took the little pink paper and went to the center, but they told me to just wait in my counselors office; she had a meeting. So I sat in there and looked around at some of her photos. It got pretty boring after the first two minutes, so I picked up a Rubik's cube she had on her desk and started playing with it, despite the fact that I can't solve those things even when I've had it explained to me countless times. It was slow work turning the rows because it was very stiff, like it had arthritis or something. After a few minutes of working on that, I suddenly felt an impending draft of doom. This is the feeling that often comes to me when I go in the counseling center, and I should have known better than to stay in there more than ten minutes. I quickly devised an excuse, the bell was going to ring and I had to get my stuff from my class, so I stealthily left. Even now I can still feel the overwhelming despair...creepy!
